Perched on Mount Campbell between Royalla and Burra, Rugosa Park Alpacas is in the heart of the Monaro region renowned for growing fine fleece. Recently established, we have the advantage of starting with already advanced breeding stock. Our goal is to produce Fine Fleece Factory alpacas. We are carefully selecting fine, dense, long stapled, and robust alpacas suitable for commercial quality fleece production. With an across herd average fibre diameter of just 20 micron we are well on our way.
